Open S-Deposito
The conditions
A requirement for an S-Deposito opening is that you commit to building at least 1/4 talent (250 oz.) of silver.
One time costs
- Regular 5 percent, from 30 talents 1.5 percent commission on the price of the target investment on the closing date
Regular deposit and custody fee
- Up to a target investment of 1/2 talent, a reduced annual deposit fee of 2 oz. Silver granules due. For all larger S-Deposites, the annual fee is 4 oz.
- Regular annual custody fee of 1 percent, from 30 talents 0.8 percent on the average stock of silver granules

- Additional payments and withdrawals are possible from 100 CHF / EUR
- Any number of bookings per month included
- Current purchase, exchange and sales prices at bb-wertmetall.ch
The taxation
- Value added tax – uniform. All purchases, sales and exchanges in S-Deposito are VAT free. The residence of the S-Deposito owners is not relevant.
- Income taxes are country-specific. Swiss clients do not pay tax on capital gains, German clients do not pay tax on capital gains, provided the holding period is at least 12 months. Customers from other countries ensure any taxation themselves.
- Property tax – country-specific. Swiss clients include the custody account statements in their declaration of assets, while German clients are currently not subject to any wealth tax.
- Custody fee as well as storage fee are subject to VAT for Swiss.

The exchange function
- You can transfer stock to other S-Deposito owners at any time. For this purpose, a signed instruction by email with scan or mail is sufficient
- Transaction instructions will be executed on the trading day on which the instruction has been received by BB Wertmetall AG by 12.00 noon.
- Both involved S-Deposito owners will receive a notification upon execution
