In doing so, you remain flexible and can turn your gold back into cash at any time. It is also possible to barter with other owners of a G-Deposito on the basis of gold granules.

The conditions
A prerequisite for a G-Deposito opening is that you commit to building up at least 5 oz. Gold commit.
One time costs
- Regular 3.5 percent, 1/2 talent (500 oz.) or more 1.5 percent commission on target investment amount on trade date
Regular deposit and custody fee
- Up to a target investment of 10oz. a reduced annual custody fee of 0.8 g gold is due. For all larger G-Depositos the annual fee is 1.5 g
- Regular annual custodian fee of 0.7 percent, from 1/2 talent 0.6 percent on the average balance of gold granules

- Additional payments and withdrawals are possible from 100 CHF / EUR
- Any number of bookings per month included
- Current purchase, exchange and sales prices at bb-wertmetall.ch
The taxation
- Value added tax – uniform. All purchases, sales and exchanges in G-Deposito are VAT free. The residence of the G-Deposito owners is not relevant.
- Income taxes are country-specific. Swiss clients do not pay tax on capital gains, German clients do not pay tax on capital gains, provided the holding period is at least 12 months. Customers from other countries ensure any taxation themselves.
- Property tax – country-specific. Swiss clients include the custody account statements in their declaration of assets, while German clients are currently not subject to any wealth tax.
- Custody fee as well as storage fee are subject to VAT for Swiss.

- Storage in Swiss bonded warehouse (security warehouse)

The exchange function
- You can transfer stock to other G-Deposito owners at any time. For this purpose, a signed instruction by email with scan or mail is sufficient
- Transaction instructions will be executed on the trading day on which the instruction has been received by BB Wertmetall AG by 12.00 noon.
- Both G-Deposito owners involved will receive a notification upon execution
